Running shoes??

I just bought a pair of Asics Gel-Frantic and they arecomfortable and lightweight. I need them for cross country and my coach said to get some cross trainers. Would these shoes be ok for cross country?

Running shoes??
they definitely would. remis.
Reply:If possible, go to a good running shoe store and get fitted properly for a running shoe. The Frantic is a neutral cushioned shoe and might be comfortable but it might not be the right type of shoe for you for serious running. It would be best to have someone check it out for you. If it%26#039;s the right type of shoe for you (neutral, cushioned) then you can run in the Frantic. If you%26#039;re told you need medial support, you would be better off getting another shoe for running. You could still use the Frantic for the gym, tho.

%26quot;Cross Trainers%26quot; are not runnning shoes. They would be for the gym.
Reply:Yes, I think they would. I got for comfort and how the shoe feels.
Reply:Cross trainers are for working out in, more than running.
Reply:If you are running cross country than you are running through the woods/off road. The best shoe for this sport is trail shoes. They may be a little heavier but the give your foot and anke more support. The sole is harder to protect the bottom of your foot from rocks and roots.

Cross trainers are for the gym.
Reply:Oh sure if they%26#039;re comfortable, light weight and easy to walk in. I think your coach will except them. Good luck with that!!! :o)
Reply:Yes! My Cross Country coach told us that asics are his preferable choice!
