Running Shoes?

Whats a good shoe for me? I am a high school runner with average to fairly high arches. I prefer asics shoes but will accept other recomendations. Im kinda hoping for the shoes to not cost me too much but last me quite a few miles. Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

Reply:well i would reccomend trying on a coupke kinds of running shoes and see what fits your feet right, after you find the right shoes, go online and get then for $20 cheaper.. cuz now running shoes are up to $70 if you just buy them at the store
Reply:Go to a store that specializes in running, ie The Running Room, and ask what shoes would be good for you.


I got some Nike%26#039;s, that I am very happy with, they have caused me no trouble at all, and, I just learned that they were Nike+ shoes, for which you can buy a little kit for your ipod nano, to track your running, and help you along.

Reply:they are some shoe stores in the mall like athletes foot , payless, and you can get shoes theyr for prettyy cheap .....but only if they r on sale!!!

Reply:I wore Asics last year, i found that they%26#039;re quite comfortable. I%26#039;m no expert, but almost everyone i know that likes Asics likes Saucony as well...might want to check those out. i don%26#039;t know how it would be for your arch, but the Progrid Hurricane series is exceptional...
